Hidden field not defaulting to selection

    Hello,

    I have a form with a VIP field and "GMem" set as default.  This as worked in the and but is no longer defaulting when someone submits a form.  Nothing shows in the field.  Any ideas?

    I have checked your form and I can see that the VIP field is configured correctly. I also cloned it and I did a test submission. Here's the result:

    As you can see, the default answer for the VIP Status field is GMem. Is it possible that the submitter is using an autofill extension or application?

    You can set the field Read-only as well so that the selected option cannot be changed. You can find this option in the Properties > Advanced.

    Okay so it’s working in the closed environment.  I have the google sheets integration configured and that’s where the data isn’t populating. Is it possible to have the GS integration restarted without losing the existing setting?  Maybe for some reason this field is just not pushing the data?

    I have pushed the form data to your spreadsheet. Please verify if the submission data will appear or not.

    Please take note that if the field answer appeared in the Submissions page, then most likely it will also appear in the Google Spreadsheet. However, if you delete or edit the fields in your form, there's a chance that the connected spreadsheet will be affected. When that happens, we normally suggest you redo the integration.
