How to allow users not to repeat entries if they are submitting same form for second time

    Hi,

I will like my clients to not have to repeatedly key in all their personal information after their first booking made with us. All they have to do subsequently is to key in the necessary information such as date of service required, etc. How can I achieve this on the form?

    Thank you.

As far as I understand, you would like to allow existing users to add just new date and to re-enter their information on form. To do so, I can suggest to create unique links for clients when they submit form first time. Those links would automatically prepopulate the form with previously entered information. The unique link could be send with email to users.

Please review this related help guide: How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form

Also, there is an option to enable autofill on forms, but this will keep the data only for 24 hours. If this is enough for your case, please check this guide: How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-on-Forms

We will be glad to assist if you need more help on this, just let us know.

    Thanks Victoria.

Is there a widget which intended data of the client can be stored so that the next time they return to fill up the reservation form again, the widget is able to detect their IP and show only the necessary parts for them to fill up?

    Thanks

I'm afraid, there's no such widget yet, but you can apply conditional logic to show only necessary field once users are filling out the form for second time. This would still require to build a unique link, which would fetch the data from previous submission. For example, a condition could check if user is using the unique link and then hide all unnecessary fields.

    Here are few more guides:

The second guide I've linked should be of help checking if user is accessing form with the link provided in email (prepopulated link).

We will gladly help you to set this up step by step if you decide to give this a try.

Can't seemed to ask a question through mobile browser. Thought of trying to ask here to see if I will get any response.

Is Jotform integrated with Vend yet?

    Thank you.
