Questions related to using "conditions" on the form

    Hello,

My form is a work order for me to collect information about the details for a customized sofa while working with a customer. After collecting basic information like fabric and color, we move on to configuration. Based on this selection I have a image template pop up where I can draw on the image to fill in the dimensions. So if the user seletcs sofa, a diagram of a sofa will pop up. If they select a L sectional, then that template pops up. What is the easiest way to set something like this up? I am currently using a bunch of conditions but my form might get really long as I try to hide the templates.

Also, what would you recommend me doing if the customer wants to buy 2 products. How would I repeat this process over in the same form or if they only want 1  then I can go straight to submit?

    Hello,

The easiest way is to use Show/Hide conditional logic to show the templates/fields based on the selection: How-to-Show-or-Hide-Fields-Base-on-User-s-Answer

I can see that you have used this condition in the form.

For that you DO NOT NEED TO MANUALLY HIDE a field.

If they want two products, duplicate the same fields. Here is an example on how you can duplicate many fields at the same time.

Else, if they want only one product, you can hide all fields after the first product, so that the user can directly submit the form.

Do try and let us know if your have any further questions.

how do I handle the submit button in the case a user wants to either
purchase 1 product or multiple products? Do I need to hide and show a
submit button after each product is added?

I have a button asking if the user wants to add an item which will unhide
or take them to the next page. Is that extra button/question necessary?

Please note that submit button is per form. Even if you add two or more submit buttons, entire form will be submitted. If few fields are blank or hidden, those data will not be captured but all fields which is filled will be captured in submission.

Say you have already duplicate the question to allow users to add new item in form. Please note that to show hide any field through condition you need a field to trigger a condition. You can add a single/multiple choice question to ask if user wants to add new item. Based on that user's answer in single/multiple choice question, you can add condition to show another set of field to allow users to add another item.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. Is adding a button which asks a user if they want to "add item" the correct route and thinking for handling this kind of situation?

    Hi!

Yes, you can add either add a single choice element to your form, that when checked, will reveal additional options to your clients.

I hope this was helpful. Let us know should you have more questions or concerns.

I am facing a bug with one of the conditions or widgets. In the field
"configuration" I have a few options. All of them work except for the
option "U sectional 3pc". Can you check why? I already tried deleting and
reuploading but for some reason the image never pops up when I make the
    selection.

button to take me to the final submit/preview page but it doesnt. It takes
me to a blank page. How do I fix this?

I am facing a bug with one of the conditions or widgets. In the field "configuration" I have a few options. All of them work except for the option "U sectional 3pc". Can you check why?

Please do not manually HIDE the fields. You are anyway showing them on the form using conditions. So unless that option is selected, the image will be hidden on the form.

You can right click on the image and select "Show".

If  it's still not working, could you provide us the form password to test?

When "add item" is NOT selected I expect the next button to take me to the final submit / preview page but it doesn't. It takes me to a blank page. How do I fix this?

You can add a new condition as shown below to skip to last Submit page, when the "Add item" field is empty or not selected:

Thanks for the support. You guys are pretty amazing.
So here below is my form. I have a dropdown for "fabrics" which I plan on
adding over 150+ options. Is that too many? I read a warning for "dynamic
dropdowns" that says adding too many options may cause it to crash. I was
thinking of using nested dropdowns to try and reduce how many options one
field has to load but can't find anything. Can you please suggest?
Fabrics are categorized by patterns. Each pattern has multiple colors.
Pattern #1: red, green, orange, etc

Pattern #2: red, blue, white, etc.
    etc

this so its very easy to lookup and select with an ipad?

I have a product form that asks the user if they want to add an item after
the first page. If the user skips adding an item the form is set to jump to
the thank you/review page. The issue iI am facing is in the preview mode,
the empty fields are still showing. I understand the "preview" widget has a
"hide empty fields" button but I would prefer not to use that so I can be
sure I didn't miss filling in any questions. The desired outcome is that
the fields still show for the first product but stay hidden for the add-on
product. Can we do something like that?
