I have two "Multiple Choice" elements that either show or hide based on the selection in a "Single Choice" element. The problem I have is that if someone selects things in one of the multi-choice elements, then changes their mind and switches to the other multi- choice element, the choices in the first element remain and consequently effect the cost totals as if they were both active. Is there a way to un-check the choices when an element is hidden, or some other way around this?

Hi,
I assume that you are referring to the Course Registration and Payment form, correct? I have cloned the form, however, to clarify are you referring to the Total Full Amount field wherein the amount doesn't vary based on the user's selection?
However, it seems that there's no formula to calculate for the totals on the Form Calculation widget:
Can you provide us with the formula or the workflow of how you would like to calculate for the Total Amount fields? For reference: How-to-Perform-Form-Calculation-Using-a-Widget
Also, if you need to assign calculation values for the items on the multiple-choice fields, please refer to this detailed guide: How-to-Assign-Calculation-Value
If you are referring to a different form please provide us with the form's link to further investigate the issue. Thank you, looking forward to your response.

Thanks for the response. That is not quite the issue I was after, and obviously it was difficult to explain. Anyway, I figured it out myself using conditional statements, so I'm good now.
