    3. PRE-FILL

Thanks for the links. I checked them all out and did not find the answer I was looking for.  Here is the URL for my photography contract:

    https://form.jotform.com/leah_bornstein/photography-contract

I've attached a screenshot. This is only one area of the contract I will have to fill for my clients prior to sending for signature. What I enter in these fields will be different for each client so I will have to modify every time I send the contract.  How do I pre-select (pre-fill) these areas for clients? In addition, if I modify these fields with every contract, will it change all other contracts already out? I am trying to avoid endless copies if possible1596057339Screen Shot 2020 07 29 at 2 Screenshot 10

Actually all of them answers your concern.

For example, when using the 2nd option that I suggested, which is a Prepopulated URL, you can see in the example below that the Type Of Session field has been prefilled:

Simply do the same for all of the other fields that you need to prefill and kindly check out completely the user guide provided:

    Prepopulating-Fields-to-Your-JotForm-via-URL-Parameters

Better yet, as mentioned on the guide, you can also use our Field Prepopulator app.

    https://www.jotform.com/integrations/field-prepopulator

If it is not working for you, do explain to us in detail how is it not working and share screenshots whenever possible.

You do not need to modify the form itself, however, the prepopulated URL you provide should be unique based on what values you need to prefill.

For example, if you want Type of Session to be Ala Carte: 5 additional digital photos ($10), then the prepopulated URL you provide for that specific customer should be:

    https://www.jotform.com/201950676957165?typeOf=Ala%20Carte:%205%20additional%20digital%20photos%20($10)

Meanwhile, for a customer that wants Short Shoot - 20 minutes ($45): 5 Professionally Edited Digital Photos, then give out the prepopulated URL just like below:

    https://www.jotform.com/201950676957165?typeOf=Short%20Shoot%20-%2020%20minutes%20($45):%205%20Professionally%20Edited%20Digital%20Photos

Please allow me to clarify that those prepopulated URLs are just samples. If you have multiple fields to prepopulate, then update your URL accordingly and please follow the guide or use the Field Prepopulator app.

    Hi! Oh this is awesome!

I would prefer to use the prepopulator app that you linked above. I went ahead and opened the app, and it wouldn't load my LBAP Photography Contract. It allows me to click on the contract but nothing happens after I press continue. How do I fix this so I can use to generate a URL for every contract I send out?

    Hello,

I tested the prepopulate app using a cloned version of your form and I'm getting the same issue, it doesn't do anything when I select the form I cloned. Not sure what's causing the issue but it works fine when I select other forms. I tried removing some of the fields that I think is causing the issue, but it still doesn't work.

I'm getting this error in the console.

Would it be possible if you recreate the form and see if that would at least resolve the issue?

We look forward to your response.

    Oh no! Thanks for trying.

Shoot, I will see if I can find time to redo the entire contract. That one took me almost an hour and a half. There's no way to fix it without redoing?

We are not sure if redoing will fix it. It will still require testing. You can try the method that my colleague Vanessa showed you or you can use the method on the following link:

    Thanks.
