JotForm slowing down page load times

    Hello,

We are using Google PageSpeed Insights to measure our website load time performance. We're able to achieve a score of 90 without using JotForm iFrame on the site, but load times go down to 75 when we use the JotForm iFrame. Is there anything we can do to speed up load times of the JotForm iFrame?

    here is the form: https://www.jotform.com/build/203014535648149

    here is the website: https://landkit-template-f047ca.webflow.io/homes/home-1

    Thanks

    Ray

followup question -- does Jotform perform bundled/minified builds for production forms? we are still on the free version of Jotform and were wondering if the paid/production version provides faster load times.

    Hi there,

Can you please embed the form using the iFrame method: https://www.jotform.com/help/148-getting-the-form-iframe-code this will isolate form scripts from conflicting with your website which might be causing the issue.

Unfortunately, we do not have a direct way to minify the build, but kindly follow this support ticket: https://www.jotform.com/answers/633537-Link-to-mimified-version-of-your-scripts

Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best.

Hello-- per my earlier post, we are already using the iFrame method. Would upgrading to the paid version improve the load speed of the form? Is there anything else we can do to increase the load speed of the form? Thanks

    Hi there,

You can create a minified version of your form decreasing the values of your files and optimize load times.

Here is the related ticket: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1644755-Form-Load-Time-Minification-and-gzip

    I hope that helps.

    Best.
