Collecting data from abandoned surveys?

Is it possible to collect data from forms (patient survey form) that the user does not complete?

We were able to do this within Survey Monkey and Google Forms. We have about a 30% abandonment rate, but we'd still like to collect whatever data was completed.

    Hi,

Sorry, but only completed and submitted forms can be visible and that too from your Form submission page: How-to-View-Form-Submissions

If you have set up the Save and Continue Later function on your form, then you can view the Incomplete submissions from the Form Submission page. There will be an Incomplete submission icon as explained here: How-do-I-view-Incomplete-submission

Please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Is there any way to force a save every time they move to the next question?

Is there any way to force a save every time they move to the next question?

The answers to questions/fields can be temporarily saved in a session when using the Continue Form Later features. But please take note that the saved session is not yet the final submission. So data will not be save in the backend yet during that time.

If you want to manually force the submission (to save data to backend), then you can open the saved session link of the respondents and then submit the form yourself. When you finally submit the form, the saved session link will be gone as well -- so the original respondent will not be able to continue anymore if they intend to get back to the previous saved session link.

I hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Ah, okay. I was perhaps trying to find a way to force it to save answers automatically as users progress through the form.

    Hi Nick,

Unfortunately, there is no option to save the form progress automatically or forcefully. Users will have to click on the SAVE button to save their progress.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thanks
