Help with invoice templates and discounts

    Hi there,

    I have two open issues with Jotform:

    1. Invoicing templates - I have amended the template following instructions online BUT it keeps using a different template, e.g. one that I have not edited or that has been sent to a test booking. How can I amend so it applies to that specific form? I have already done it via "PREVIEW INVOICE" in the payment settings and selected the relevant form and it doesn't seem to work.
    2. Coupons / Discounts - it was previously working in tests where I wanted to give a fixed amount off a ticket price. The tickets are £149 inc. 20% TAX and I want this WHOLE AMOUNT to be deducted from their price using codes. I've tried it a few ways, one is to fix the discount and apply to the Product and the other to the subtotal, neither works in the way that it should i.e. if it's product it takes it from all of them and therefore if someone orders 2 they pay nothing! If I do it from the subtotal it still adds 20% tax on top for the discounted tick

    Hi, thank you for contacting support.

    Please refer to the steps outlined below to apply your edited invoice to the email notifications.

    1. Kindly disable the Invoice option from the Payment Setting.

    Thank you, it hasn’t seemed to have worked. I have done as below and Tested the email but no invoice is attached.

     Is there a way to delete other invoice PDFs in my list as well so I just have the ones I want (and rename them accordingly?)

    Yes, you can delete and rename the PDF documents.

    Please go to PDF Editor and open the document you want to make changes to. Click on the three dots to rename or delete the document.

    After updating this information, please add a new email alert and test the form. I would also suggest clearing your form cache before creating a new email alert.

    Thanks I have deleted loads and it's not actually removing them; I've also renamed the one I want to use and tried to find that (I have a HUGE list of "Simple Invoices" now and just one Copy of Simple Invoice) and cannot get it to work.


    Are you able to help jump on a call with me so I can show you? It's really urgent as I've been working on this for two weeks now without success.

    With your permission, we can try deleting it for you. Just let us know what simple invoice we will not remove or avoid. You can rename it "Simple Invoice - Main" and we won't delete it.

    Hi there, I've managed to get the template to work by finding the Copy of Invoice and using this one. However, there are still tens and tens of "Simple Invoice" templates in there which I cannot seem to reduce down even though I've deleted loads, so you have my permission to delete them all EXCEPT for Summit Invoice and Copy of Simple Invoice and 1 x Simple Invoice so I end up with 3 in there. Thank you.
