JotForm Approval: Forward the status of the approval on the integrated google sheet

I want only approved submissions to be populated in google sheets.. is this possible? Thanks!

Unfortunately, no that is currently not possible.

The integration is triggered everytime the form is submitted regardless of the data or status within.

You may however filter your submissions within your Tables page then manually export it to an Excel file.

Hello,

No, the approval status will not be sent to the integrated Google Sheet as it is not yet supported. I honestly think that having the approval status forwarded to the sheet would be awesome so I've already submitted a feature request. Hopefully, it'll be implemented soon.

You can easily find the status of the approval on your JotForm inbox.

When we download the excel file, would we be able to see the approval status along with the comments added at the time of approval?

The reason why I ask is that jotform tables is getting slow as we are adding more data to it. If we want to refresh and download all of the data onto our file servers so that we can clear up the storage on jotform, we need the approval comments as well.

If there is no way to extract the approval comments then we cannot store data on premise because it would be missing information.

The only information you can download from the JotForm table is the Approval Status along with other information. See screenshot below:

Unfortunately, there's no automated way on how to extract the Approval Comments except by copying them and pasting them on your clipboard or storage somewhere. Hopefully, the feature request that I created will be approved sooner.
