Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no option for the user to cancel the appointment. The user must inform you that he/she is canceling. Then, you can delete the associated submission.
Guide: How-to-Delete-Form-Submission-Data
Doing so will clear the supposed timeslot and will be available again for others.
Note: Deleting a submission will remove it permanently from the form.

I appreciate the clarification Cecile! Thank you. We realize how to delete the submissions though we hate to do so as it helps us to keep a record of the appointments. Is there a cost associated with adding the cancellation feature if it is desired?

Hello Renee - No, there no cost in sending Feature Requests to our developers. I just sent one and though we can't give you an ETA, will keep you posted on this same ticket for updates.
