How to create a condition on Approval Workflow?

    Hello,

We have a "new hiring" form that we would like to connect with jotforms.

We have an internal system that holds a list of different clients. Today, we send the form embedding an ID that gets put in a hidden field. Call it CompanyID. After the form is submitted we use the Airtable automation to gather information and create accounts based on that data.

We would like to run an automation where we would like to have a different email be an approver for the same form, depending on a passed parameter.

So for each different company that we have, we want to make them the approver for this specific form.

Is this something feasible with the current workflow feature?

    Hello mkonlogistics,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Sure! It's possible to create a condition on your Approval workflow to achieve the mentioned requirement. To confirm, have you created the flow already? If not, I would suggest following this guide about How to Create an Approval Flow in Jotform? On the other hand, if the flow has been created. Let me show you how to create the condition:

    • Add the Conditional Branch Element to your current approval flow.
    • Create the condition based on your specific field.
    • Once created, add the next step once the condition has been met.

    Hello,

Thanks for your answer! To extend this --

is there any way for us to automatically update the approval via an API call? If we have 100 companies, then someone has to manually modify this every time we add a new one
