    Greetings,

Thank you for contacting Jotform Support. Regarding your query, all photos taken from the widgets are saved in your Jotform table and they're also visible in your notification email.

I've tested your form and all uploaded photos from the widget are all visible. Please check the screencast below:

    Hello,

    Thank you for patiently waiting,

We sincerely apologize if the photo taken using the Photo Widget is of poor quality. Please note that the quality of the picture taken using the "Take Photo" widget will not be the same as that taken directly using your camera.

We suggest to please add a "File Upload" field in the form instead. When the form is accessed using a mobile device, the user will be able to take photos using a camera and upload the image. The quality of the uploaded image will be retained.

    Hello abrajam2014,

Thanks for getting back to us. It would help us to understand what’s happening if you could take a screenshot and send it to us. We have a guide here explaining how to do that. I also checked your forms and two of them have a Take Photo widget. To verify, is this happening to both of the forms? If not, please send us the link to the form so we could further test it on our end.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

yes, it is in both and if you like I will open the one that says "Consultation history" if you see the photo that was taken with the cell phone it comes out big and if I print it, don't even say it, I would like it to appear as a child-sized photo, it would be about 1.5 cm x 1.5
    I'm on the lookout, thanks

    Hello abrajam2014,

Thanks for getting back to us. If I understand your question correctly, you'd like it so that after the customer submitted their photo, it will be automatically resized to the dimensions you'd like it to be? So when you download it, it will be on that size ready for printing? If so, I'm afraid this is not yet possible as Jotform takes whatever size or photo the customer has submitted to their form. It doesn't apply any post-process or size changes to the uploaded photo. If this is what you need, please let us know and we'll submit a feature request for you.

If that's not what you're looking for, can you explain further and provide an example scenario? You may also share a screenshot where you'd like to see the photo and in size so we can understand what you need better.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

I greatly appreciate your prompt response(s) and support for my questions. Thank you.

I tell you, searching your database with a similar question about the problem about the size of the captured image, you sent me a link where you talk precisely about modifying the size of the photo taken but I think it was about 2 years ago, I followed the steps but I don't apply with today's version (I can't find the link to send them to you).

That is why I decided to write to them and what is required is that when taking the photo it remains of an example size of 2cm x 2cm to validate the patient by photo. In fact, he takes the photo, but when he sends it to be printed or viewed on the screen, it is very large, almost halfway through the photo, and that is a hindrance when trying to identify the person. I enclose a screen of how the form shows it to me and I send you another screen where I show how I would like it to be displayed and I know that you will be able to see the difference.

Thank you in advance for all your support you have given me.

In this photo the largest sample and in the following image I show you how we would like it to come out.

In this way, it comes out in a friendly and sufficient size to identify the person.

I thank you in advance for the support you give me, regards

    Greetings,

I understand that you would like to somehow customize the size/resolution of the photo taken by the Take Photo Widget. Unfortunately, it is not possible to adjust the image size or resolution of images taken on the form using the "Take Photo" widget. I forwarded your ticket to our developers as a feature request. Please keep in mind that we cannot provide an ETA for when this will be implemented because feature requests are dependent on the workload.

Basically, the Take Photo Widget is not customizable. It is built with that size and feature.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we look into this further.
