    Hi,
Please advise the following: How is s data provided by clients in answer to a form stored by jot form? If data is retained by Jotform, is it encrypted and held securely in compliance with UK GDPR regulations? Do I need consent from the client to provide data via Jotform? If so, do you have a form of wording I can use? Thank you

    Hi Rebekah,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. All your forms are served across protected 256 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection that uses a SHA256 Certificate. This is the same level of protection used by online banking or e-commerce providers. Kindly refer to our Security page for more information.

Apart from HIPAA compliance feature, you can also use our Encrypted Forms feature. It gives you the ability to encrypt form data before it is even submitted to Jotform and you have the only private key to decrypt it. Here's the guide on How to Encrypt your forms.
