How can I prefill form fields with data from another form?

I have a "Offer Building" form that I want to give my clients the ability to define their own presets. I have them do this by filling out an "Onboarding" form where they define what they want those presets to be.

I'm envisioning here a drop down in the "Offer Building" form a place where they select their own email address, which then populates the corresponding defaults from the "Onboarding" form to the "Offer Building" form.

    Can this be done?

    Hi Kevin,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked the status of the email address you used to open this ticket but I am getting a result that this is a Guest account and there are no forms linked to it. If you want us to check them, please log in to your account that contains your form and open a new ticket and create a new request.

As for your question, if you want to prefill form fields with data from another form, you can do it by prepopulating form fields via URL parameters or by using our Spreadsheet to Form widget. This second option will allow you to upload an external spreadsheet in the widget on your form and when the unique field value that you set is matched, the form will be automatically filled. We have a guide about How to Use the Spreadsheet to Form Widget that you can check out.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
