I'm having the same issue as Miranda Meadow below. The downloaded data only have the text answers, not the numeric values.

    Hi Spring Hill Web Designs,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand how frustrating this is for you and I’ll do my best to help you. Can you share us your form URL?

Once we have a better idea of what’s going on, we’ll be able to come up with a solution.

When a client selects the package they want, I want it to inject the amount for that package into the contract {package}. It's not working for the number injection, it just injects the name/words.

    Hi Spring Hill Web Designs,

Thanks for getting back to us. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better? It would help us to understand what’s happening if you could take a screenshot and send it to us. We have a guide here explaining how to do that.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Yes, that's only because I modified it after finding the bug (I added the amount in parenthesis to the names of the packages). It should just input "250" instead of the full name (see how it's inserting it right after the $ sign? I created it so that it would just input the number right after the dollar sign, therefore detailing the monthly fee).

It works as designed and desired when filling out the form. But then the downloaded document isn't the same as when it was filled out.

you can see the difference in your screencast and your screenshot actually. When you test it in your screencast, it only inputs the number and that's it (the correct way). But then the downloaded document screenshot you posted replaces that part with the full name of the selection "Deluxe Package ($250)".

    Hi Spring Hill Web Designs,

Thanks for getting back to us. If you wanted to pass the Calculation value only not all the names of the field, I would suggest adding a form calculation widget and hiding it from the form. Then, use the unique ID of the form calculation in the Paragraph field. Let me show you how:

    • In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    • Under the Widgets tab, search for the Form Calculation widget and add it below to your chosen Package.
    • Next, click on the Wand icon to open Widget Settings.
    • In the Add Field section, choose the Package field to pass the value
    • Then, click on Save, and you're done.

After you add form calculation widgets to your form, you need to get the Unique ID of it and add it in the Paragraph field. Let me show you how:

    1. In the Form Builder, select the form element’s gear icon to open properties.
    2. In the properties pane on the right, go to Advanced.
    3. Scroll down to the bottom and expand Field Details.
    4. Copy the value in the Unique Name field.
