WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website or blog. We like to say that WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time. If you have a self-hosted WordPress.org website, adding your Jotform form to your post or page is relatively easy.
- In the Form Builder, go to the Publish tab.
- On the left side, click Platforms.
- Click the WordPress.org option.

- Click the Copy Code button to copy the embed code.

- Go to your WordPress post or page editor. If you’re still using the Classic Editor, you will have to toggle the Text Editor and paste the codes to the section where you want to display the form.

If you are using the new Gutenberg editor, you can embed the form codes through the Custom HTML block:

- That’s it! View your page to see the form.

it was always very easy to do and we never had an issue until recently, now when a person visits fills out the form and taps submit they are warned that the form is not secure. The other 2 forms (1 is actually the same just placed in the side widgets) perform the exact same way. Seem a bit fishy to me.

I'm having the same problem on and -- neither method works for embedding the forms.
This doesn't work for me, first of all I can't pass any form values this way & if there's any other HTML in the page (in my case I'm using a page builder), then this doesn't work.
Is there any wordpress plugin for Jotform that actually works?
It looks like Jotform Integration with Wordpress is Hopelessly Broken at this point. Which really sucks since it's such an awesome tool.
I'm currently trying to figure out a work around. Copying the Javascript embed code seems to work... but only sometimes... Still trying to figure out how to pass variables into jotform if i use the embed code.
All WP Plugins for Jotform so far as pretty much useless
I have not ben able to add the form I used the instructions by pasting the code in the 'Text' area on a page and post the form does not appear.
Tried the plugin no luck.
Any ideas?
I followed the instructions and yet the form does not show up. I've embedded it into our Facebook and would like to embed it into our website so we're consistent with the form people fill out.
Are Jotform plugins free?
I tried to install the Jotform plugin and the iFrame Preserver plugin and I still can't host a Jotform on my site. Can you help? The URL is

It displays my form id but with two == behind it. Not sure how to get round this...

Second option works great.
Hi. I have our website mapped to Wordpress.
In order to be able to add plug-ins, do we have to have the "custom design" purchased? I don't have a selection option of plug-ins on the left hand side of my dashboard.
I created this form:
I've embedded it into our Facebook and would like to embed it into our website so we're consistent with the form people fill out.
is anyone having an issue with the "submit" button not appearing on your page in Wordpress? I have a self-hosted site and everything shows withe the exception of the "submit" button.
I have tried both the javascript option and the plug-in.
não to conseguindo
I have a self hosted site and the form appears fine in chrome and firefox.
For those people who are having trouble with WordPress automatically deleting the JavaScript code I created a small plugin that prevents that from happening.
I have followed the steps to add my form but it is not showing up on my site.
my site is
This works until you click the "Visual" tab and save changes... it deletes the jotform script.
Solution: How to add a jotform form to a Wordpress Blog ( self hosted )
Note: this only works on self hosted wordpress blogs...
Install this wordpress pluging called "Iframe Preserver"
Activate it....
Get the iframe embed code from jotform for your form...
I added the Popup code in an Text widget on the sidebar and that worked well.
But I need to get the user reg of wp into the form...
You all replied to me on twitter and gave me the link to this adding forms help page.
When I go to the embed form option, there is no embed form wizard that enables me to select the wordpress option.
What it does show me is a small dialogue box with the source code and button options to either customize or preview it.
I am currently using my form as a Lightbox and pasting it in my Wordpress sidebar. The link appears as simple text. I would like to change that to an image. How can I do that?
Groovy is right; the form does not show when you paste the code into WordPress HTML section.
Hi
I tried the embed form with iframe but it doesn't work...
Did someone manage to put the form on wordpress?
Could anyone help me please?
Did anyone resolve the issue of pasting the code into wordpress html area? as it seems to not show at all?
I followed the instructions and yet the form does not show up. Is there a reason why or another way to do this?
Hmm I'm having some difficulty I was putting a form as a text widget, and it worked great at first! then i made some size adjustment etc etc and it stopped working completely anyone know about this? Or will they really only work on the page of post?
The Java features work great on Wordpress sites that are NOT hosted on wordpress.com. Here is a form on my site:
this is an old version of Wordpress. Here is a form on a newer version of Wordpress:
The new version is amazing. It addressed all the inconveniences with the old version, made it much more user-friendly, and simply runs better. The "quick fields" are wonderful! Now I just need to phase out our "old" forms to have the sweet new fields you've provided. Thanks again for the work going into this and for making it free!
I never saw the old version. I can say that I love this version! Great job!
Albo: No, you are not required to use anything other than the form field names. Everything else can be customized using the full form source code option:
On the Form Builder:
1. Open "Setup & Share" tab on toolbar,
2. Click on "Share Form"
3. Click on "Advanced Options"
4. Get "Full Source Code"
loswl: If you can send us an email with the link for the form that has this problem we can look into this.
For now, I will stick to the old version because the new form does not send notification to the email I set. The only way I get notified is if I use the jotform iphone app. The old jotform does what it says on the can.
I think I like the new version. But as you might deduce from my having placed a question in the forum, I need extensive documentation for the new version!
For those of us who grab the full html and shake the bejeebers out of it, to style it to our own websites, the stretch limits will be important to know!
E.g., *must* we link to *your* style sheet? *Must* we use your field *ids AND classes AND names*? Are your *label* ids important (I doubt it, but...)?
Please reveal!
(Also, test your website in Webkit on MacOSX: needs help!)
