    Hi Andrea,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. First, the Starter (Free) plan basically gives you access to most of the features that paid subscriptions have to offer. The main difference is the usage limits. For example, in the Free plan, your account can receive 100 total entries per month.

You can use this for small-scale data gathering or testing purposes. For individuals and small businesses, that might be all you need. If the Starter plan’s usage limits are enough for you, then you can use the Jotform Free plan indefinitely. If not, you may upgrade to our Bronze, Silver and Gold plans depending on your usage requirements, which you can also choose in monthly or yearly payments. Here’s a quick overview of usage limits on what the Starter (Free) Plan has to offer:

    • Forms Limit — The number of active forms.
    • Monthly Submissions — The total number of entries you can receive every month from all your forms.
    • Upload Space — The available storage space for file uploads.
    • Monthly Form Views — The number of impressions or times your forms can be viewed.
    • Total Submission Storage — The total number of form entries you can store in your account.
    • Fields per Form — The maximum number of form elements for each form.
    • Monthly Payment Submissions — The total number of completed payments from forms with payment processor integration.
    • Monthly Signed Documents — The total number of signing processes completed from all your Sign documents your account can have every month.
    • HIPAA Compliance Features — Available only on Gold and Enterprise plans.
    • Jotform Branding — Appears at the bottom of the forms. The option to remove the branding is available once you have a paid subscription.

In addition, our standard plans (Starter, Bronze, Silver, and Gold) are individual, single-user plans. So, only one login session can exist at a time. If you need an account that allows multiple users, we would like to encourage you to look into upgrading to Jotform Enterprise. Enterprise accounts can accommodate everyone on your team while giving you full control and visibility into each action taken by members of your team for IT audit purposes.

For a quick breakdown of the limits for each plan, you can visit the Features and Pricing page. We also have a guide about Understanding Your Account Usage and Limits that you can check out.

    Thank you for the above.

I need to send this out for a event and want to make sure I understand correctly for the Bronze I will only be able to get 100 attendees to fill out my form or is 10,000?

    Hi Andrea,

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm sorry, but are you referring to the Monthly Payment Submissions? If so, it means that the Bronze plan accepts a 100 total number of submissions, from all your forms with payment integrations each month.

However, if your form does not have any payment gateway integrated, the Bronze plan can accept monthly submissions of up to 1000 entries. Do note that it is the total number of entries from all your forms or imports your account can have monthly.

If perhaps you are referring to the 10,000 Total Submission Storage in the Bronze plan, it is the maximum number of entries from all your forms you can keep in your account. You can delete and then purge your form entries to free the total submission storage limit.

Please keep in mind that any Monthly Usage Limits refer to the maximum number of times you can use a feature every month and the counter resets on the first day of the limit reset period. You can check the start date of your next limit reset period from your Account Usage page.

On the other hand, the Total Usage Limit is the allowed space or number of an item your account can use. Unlike its monthly counterpart, this usage limit type doesn’t reset and has to be managed manually. You can also upgrade your account to increase limits.

So for example, if you have 500 attendees who will fill out your form without any payment gateway integration, then you are still allowed to receive 500 more submissions in the Bronze plan. It will then reset on the first day of the limit reset period.
