Hi CVHSPTO,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To sum up the score for each Input Table, you can add a Form Calculation widget after each one. But first, make sure to add Calculation Values to each of the Input Table's cell. I'll walk you through setting that up:First, set up the calculation values:
1. In Form Builder, click on the Gear icon of the table.
2. Go to the Options Tab.
3. Set the Calculation Values the same as below (comma separated values, and new line for each row):Do the above steps for each of the Input Tables. Next, replace the total field with Form Calculation widget:
Then, set the value for the widget:
1. Click on the Wand icon.
2. Click on Add Field, then select the Input Table connected to the widget.
3. Select all rows, then add a Plus (+) sign after each row.How the widget value should look:
Lastly, to get the total for all the Form Calculation widgets:1. Click on the Wand icon, then click Add Field.
2. Select a Form Calculation widget with the total.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each total, then add a Plus (+) sign after each row.For the purpose of this demo, I only added two form calculation widgets for the total. See screencast below for the expected result:
Here is my clone form which you can check and clone. We also have a guide about How to Perform Calculations Using a Widget that you can check out.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.

Hi. Thank you so much for your help! I still have the calculations that are being added from one section and it adds it on the next section.

Hi CVHSPTO,
Thanks for getting back to us. I cloned and tested your form, and I was able to replicate the issue. But, after carefully checking your form, it seems you added the wrong field on the calculation widget. You will need to edit the calculations you've set up on the 2nd Total Score Field. It's easy, let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on the 2nd Calculation Widget element and click the Wand Icon.
- Now, in the right panel, delete the current calculation. Then click on Add Field button, scroll down to #13 and select all sub-fields.
- Next, enter Plus sign in between of each sub-fields.
- Finally, click on Save Button.
Here's the screencast of my result:
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

Oh my goodness you are the best! But I have one more issue regarding the total- I need help with getting the total scores for each candidate into the final box totals.
capybara 12
owl 11
I no longer need the total points added up at the end- but really just need each candidates score. Also, is there a possibility to get them listed highest to lowest?
THANK YOU! I have almost given up on this.

Hi CVHSPTO,
Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, it is not possible to sort Input Table fields based on highest to lowest score but, you can add the individual scores to the Input Table by using Update/Calculate condition. Let me walk you through it:
1. Open your form in Form Builder, and in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
2. In the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Conditions.
3. Click on Add Condition, select Update/Calculate field, and set a condition to copy the score to Input Table as shown below:
4. Repeat the steps for each cell on the Input Table. That's it.
Here is how it will work:
Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

So will this basically move their total scores into the boxes at the bottom? Like if the first is 15 second is 20 then #1 will have their score, #2 20, 3rd their total?

Hi CVHSPTO,
Thanks for patiently waiting, Yes that's correct. The total will be show at the bottom or in the calculation field. Each rows will calculate then the final total will show on the calculation field. May I verify if this is what you are referring too? If so, let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on input table.
- Click on conditions on the right side of the field.
- Click on Gear Icon.
- Click on Disable.
- Then, click on Calculation.
- Click on Wigdet settings on the right side of the field.
- A menu will show on the right side.
- Click on Add field.
- Look for Input table 45. Note
- Click on check box.
- Click on Done
- Click on +
- Lastly, click on Save.
Note: Do this one by one so that you don't have a conflict.
You can check out this Demo Form so you can try it by yourself. If you want to clone the form, you can check out this guide about How to Clone an Existing Form From a URL.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Okay I did all of that but nothing actually populates in the big chart.. I want the scores that were calculated at the end of each students survey to be “populated” into the chart.

Hi CVHSPTO,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having an issue with this. If you need to add the total for each section into the table then you will need to set up separate conditions for each Form calculation to pass the value to each raw in the last table. Let me show you how:
1. In Form Builder, click on Setting in the Orange bar at top of the screen.
2. Select Condition from the left panel.
3. Click on Add New Conditions and select the Update/Calculate field.
4. Set up the condition show in my screencast below. (Ensure to set up separate condition for each section.)
Here is what the results look like:
