Which form is more suitable for me?

how can I change this pdf to a more usable "form" on a phone. it should be noted that I will have about a dozen users. this will not be customer facing other than them signing off. We are in the fuel remediation business so we go to storage tanks and fix their fuel issues. so it is B to B and this form for us will be for dispatching, recording what they did and their time there. So would I be better off selecting a form or changing the PDF to something else?

    Hi Brad,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It would be totally up to you if you want to continue using the original PDF or try out the form layout. In your case, both options are suitable for you. If you want to upload your PDF in your form and use it dealing with the customers then you should keep the original PDF and if you are fine with the customizable PDF using the form layout then you can move towards the form. Please note that in both forms you can generate the PDF as per your liking but in PDF forms you can only add fields to your uploaded PDF document and in simple forms you can generate and edit the PDF document using the PDF editor.

I don't believe this answered my question. I have already built the form using the PDF. My question is the pdf does not look anything like the form now because of all the additions and drop downs. More importantly I am concerned about usability. The idea is we are using the "FORM/PDF" or whatever form it takes so the Technicians can use it to understand what the job is, where they are going and then using drop downs show what the scope of work was, who there contact is etc. I want the tech's to be able to do all of this on their phone. Part 2 is

if I need to do it as a web form do I have to start all over again or is there a quick way
    to do that.
Again, I want it for use of the tech's who travel to be able to fill out their portion on the road and the Office staff will completed the top of the form e.g. where the job is, contact person, etc. What should I do?

    Hi Brad,

Thanks for getting back to us. If you're concerned about usability, creating a web form can give you more freedom. If you want it easy for your form fillers, web forms only need a browser which is basic for a phone to have while a PDF form needs a PDF reader. Also, there are features that are only available in web forms and not in PDF forms like widgets, conditions, etc. but if you don't really need these features, then it's okay to continue using PDF forms.

Let me share with you some guides that would help you decide on which one to choose:
