Hi Jotform,
I need to put something together in the next 24 hours, so a long learning curve is a non-starter.
- I'm offering 6 in-person workshops, all within a short time frame. Buyers will be able to purchase from any and all immediately.
- 40 seat max capacity for each.
- Buyers can select from 1-20 seats on each (satisfies need for larger customers).
- Whatever they choose, the solution totals the amount.
- They click the buy button and it sends them to PayPal to complete the purchase.
- This generates a receipt from us (or our Jotform page).
- Somehow, they are sent a link to another form where they fill out the attendee info. When finished, they send that to us.
I think this covers it.
Can you help me figure this out?
Pages don't have to win awards for design. I just want functionality and to make sure it plays nice with PayPal. I'm not sure how to integrate your system and there's.
If you can give me a step-by-step plan to knock this out, I'm a buyer.
If all you can do is send me to a slew of online documents, it won't work as I don't have the time and will likely screw it up in the details.
I've heard good things about you, and I'm hopeful.
Thanks!

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for your patience. I checked your account, and I see that you recently created a form, so I am assuming that this is the same form concept and products you are trying to work on. As I checked, you already used the product list element, which our users always use to sell products. The customer will be able to purchase multiple products in the product list elements. For more information, check out our guide on How to Add Product Categories to Payment Fields.
I moved your other questions to a different thread to make it more clear and avoid confusion. You can check them out at the link below:
2. 40 seat max capacity for each.
3. Buyers can select from 1-20 seats on each (satisfies need for larger customers).
4. Whatever they choose, the solution totals the amount.
5. They click the buy button, and it sends them to PayPal to complete the purchase.
6. This generates a receipt from us (or our Jotform page).
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Well, I wanted to see what you had done and clicked the links
you provided.Immediately, I got hit with YOUR IP ADDRESS HAS BEEN BANNED
and YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED.
I just opened the account for the purposes of asking the questions,
looking for a solution. To the best of my recollection, I've never done
business with you.
Now, I'm banned?
That's an interesting way of greeting new people who might want to
buy from you.
Anyway, thanks.
Jerry

jrobertsideasReplied on April 18, 2024 at 4:25 AMHi Raymond,
I'm trying to make a form and notice that the default quantity is 1.
People will be confused by this, and worried that they'll be charged
for courses they don't want.
When I tested it,all six courses were at "1", and there was still "$ 0"
in the total field. Then I changed one of them to "2" and the price
went up.
When I returned it to "1", there was no more $zero, the price now
showed one ticket sold.
How do I edit this so customers don't fall into this trap? I want a
default of "0" or something that won't trigger a charge.
Thanks.
Jerry
