We are a medium sized manufacturing factory and we are in need of an autmated process to manage orders and the progress of the orders to finalisation.

    Hi Pieter,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, we don't offer live chat or phone support. If you have any questions, just reply to this thread, or you can create a Forum Thread from the Contact Us page. We’ll be happy to help.

Now, to answer your question, Jotform offers different features that can achieve an automated process for managing orders. We also have order templates that you can use as a starting form. You can then integrate our partner payment gateways directly into your form for purchases. You can check out this guide. As for the order progress, you can use our Jotform Approvals to achieve this. You can read this link. You can also read our guide about Order Form Basics.

You can also provide us with a directly detailed scenario of what you are trying to achieve, and we will assist you in providing a workaround.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Jefferson
Thanks for the quick response! I will have a look at the links you provided below.
A detailed breakdown of what we need is:
We have several branches, for illustration I will use Johannesburg and Cape Town for this example. Each of them places orders for manufacture on the factory in Pretoria. We want to be able to track how much, what and when each of the branches ordered. We also then want to be able to track as these orders are being completed alternatively when they are finalised by the factory. The form is needed from the factory’s perspective. Would Jotform be suited for this scenario. Please let me know if I have to elaborate.
    Die uwe / Yours faithfully,

    Hi Pieter,

Thanks for getting back to us. You can build your form and add the Product List field for your order form. Take note that you can also filter the submission data based on a location by filtering the submission table. Here's our guide on How to Filter Entries in Jotform Tables. You can build your form and if you ned further assistance on it, please share the URL of the form and tell us what assistance you need.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help.
