    Hi aiannone,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. If you want to collect subscription payments through your form, you can turn your document into a Smart PDF Form, instead of a Sign Document Form. Jotform makes it easy to integrate your PDF files using Smart PDF Forms. Let me walk you through it:

    • Click the Create Form button on your My Forms page.
    • Choose Import Form and then Import PDF Form.
    • Now, upload your PDF file.

    • Add the necessary fields and customize them using the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.

Sometimes, the fields that are automatically created in the PDF file will be in the wrong place. If that happens, you'll have to move and resize the fields.

Adding the Signature Element to your Smart PDF Form is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    2. Under the Basic tab, scroll down and drag and drop the Signature element to your form.
    3. Position the connected signature field on the original PDF form.

The Jotform Prefill feature works well with Smart PDF Forms. You can also add a Stripe payment field on your form to sell subscriptions. And you can integrate it with Freshbooks via a 3rd-party app, Zapier.

    Hello  Aiannone,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, we don't offer live chat or phone support. If you have any questions, just reply to this thread, and we’ll be happy to help. Please note that as soon as your PDF document has been converted into an online form, you can now use the Manual Prefill feature to prefill the form manually before sending it to your clients. Let me show you how:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder, and in the navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Publish.

    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Prefill.

    3. Click on the Manual Prefill.

    4. Click on the button to add a new prefill.

    5. It will then open your form so you can prefill it. But, there are elements that you won't be able to fill in. We can't prefill the signature element by default.

    6. Now once done, prefilling the fields, click on the green button on the top right side of your screen so it creates a link that you can now send to your client.

Please note that you can let your client edit your prefilled fields, or you can just set them to read-only. Once done with the setup, you may now send it to your clients. We also have a guide about Jotform Prefill and How Does It Work? that you can check out.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions
