How to link Unique ID from one form to another?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Just so I understand, your users will first fill out the NOWonder User Experience Survey form, and then after a week, you will send them the NOWonder - Weekly Follow-up Feedback form. During this process, do you want the Unique ID from the survey form to be passed into the feedback form?

How will you be sending them the weekly feedback form? Are you manually sending them a link to the form, or do you have something scheduled?

One solution is to set up a text field on the feedback form, and then using the Prefill feature, you can prefill that field with the value from the previous form. Then, you can send out the prefilled form to the particular user. It's easy. Let me show you how:

1. In the Form Builder of your feedback form, click on Add Form Element on the left.
2. Under Basic Elements, click on Short Text.
3. You can name the field as Unique ID.
4. Click on Publish at the top.
5. Click on Prefill on the left.
6. Click on Form Prefill.
7. Select the form you want to get the Unique ID from.
8. Select Unique ID in the dropdown on the left.
9. Select the short text field in the dropdown on the right.
10. Click on Save Settings.
11. Click on Add A New Prefill.
12. Select the submission you want to prefill from and then click on Create near the top right.
13. Click on the Three Dots icon and click on Copy URL.

You can then share the URL to that particular user and when they fill out the form, it will have their Unique ID already prefilled.

Thank you for the clarity.

Unique ID NOWonder User Experience Survey is a sequence that is generated automatically in the order of people filling the survey.

We want to the Unique ID to be autogenerated for the feedback form.

1. Want to create an approval path (in the order  NOWonder User Experience Survey ( first survey)- feed back form for next 12 weeks.. week1, week2, week3). Best if we can add Unique ID to all the weekly feedback forms.
2. We plan to automate sending the f/u weekly feedback forms. Email is provided at the first survey. Is it possible to generate a approval flow for each week ( with data tables with same unique ID for a participant) to send a reminder sharing the URL to fill the right form.
3. As the feed back form remains same for all the f/u weekly feedback, how to create an automated process to send reminders and forms each week? should we clone the form 12 times for the f/u feedback?

Thanks for getting back to us. Yes, you can setup up a reminder email in your approval flow. Let me show you how:

1. In the Jotform Approval Builder, click the Settings icon on the Approval or Approve & Sign element.
2. Go to the Advanced tab of the Settings panel.
3. Toggle Send Reminder Emails to On.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having an issue with this. I've cloned your form and tested it, but I was not able to replicate the issue. I am able to get the upload link in the email. Check out the screenshot of my results:

Additionally, the uploads are saved in the submissions as well, you can check which image belongs to which participants in the submission tables.

Have you made any changes to the email? Can you please try it again and see if you are able to get the upload image link?
