Square Integration Won't Connect

    I'm having problems with square, it was integrated at one time and was disconnected somehow. Now it won't link back. I go to connect I sign in to square but the wheel keeps spinning saying successfully logged in to your square account, please wait. It never connects. I have attempted to do this from a different browser and even different devices, doesn't work.

    Hi Britteny,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m really sorry that this is happening. I can help you with the solution. I cloned your form and tested it using our Sandbox account, but it was successfully connected without any issues. Check out the screenshot below to see my results:

    Can you try clearing your browser's cache and cookies and see how it goes? If the issue persists, can you try a different browser to see if the issue is with your current browser? You can also try using incognito mode (private browsing) to see if there's an issue as well.

    If you run into the same issue again, can you share a screenshot of the console log report while the payment processor is not connecting? It will help us see what's going on.

    Still not connecting.

    Cache is cleared.

    Hi Britteny,

    Thanks for getting back to us. Can you try using a different internet connection/ISP, if your current internet connection will not let you connect to your Square account? If the same thing happens when using a different internet connection, use a desktop or laptop computer, then try to integrate the form again with your Square account. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder, then click on the Product List field.
    2. Click on the Wand icon on the field, and click on Settings in the menu that opens up.
    3. Now, click on the green Connected button and select Disconnect.
    4. Then, click on Connect and connect the Integration again.
    5. Click on Continue, and that's it.

    If you continue to have the same problem, be sure to check your Square account to make sure that everything is set up right.

    I have connected using the same Internet connection before and its high speed internet. I don't have speed issues anywhere, streaming, or remote work.


    I have already done all those steps and it keeps freezing on the please wait screen. When I hit the continue button a red warning comes up saying

    Please authenticate using the "Square Connect" button.

    I fixed it,


    I had pop ups blocked but I thought it was ok to click allow. I made settings to allow all pop ups and it confirmed on now.

    Thanks for getting back to us. I checked your form and I see that the Business Location is stuck on 'Fetching locations' as you see in the screenshot below:

    Please try the troubleshooting instructed by my colleague here again, but using a different browser.
