Hi there,
I'm building a form using a PDF and I want to customize the choice style.
I can't find the option. Is this feature still available now? Thanks!
Best regards,

Hi Joel,
Thanks for using Jotform. Jotform's PDF Editor lets you easily change or edit the generated PDF in your form. Any changes you make will be applied directly to the files to be downloaded. Let me show you how to do it:
- In PDF Editor, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the page.
- Under the Basic Elements tab, scroll down the list to the Form Elements section.
- Here, you can add, remove, or edit the form fields you want shown on the PDF.
4. Under the Form Fields tab, left-click on the fields you want to use to add them to your PDF.
You might also want to check out our guide about customizing PDF in PDF Editor.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

Hi
I'm creating a form using a PDF and want to customize the style of choice.
I'm trying to figure out how to make a new form or edit a generic one.

Hi Joel,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I reviewed your account and it appears that you were able to create a Smart PDF Form. You can customize the form you created in the Smart PDF Form Builder. Here's how to do that:
- In Smart PDF Form Builder, click the Paint Roller icon on the right side.
- Navigate the tabs to customize your form.
- Under the Styles tab, click on Advanced Designer at the bottom to edit the choices on your form.
If you have a specific style you want to achieve on your form, that might require a custom CSS code. Can you share a screenshot of the style you want? We have a guide on How to Post Screenshots to Our Support Forum.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.

This was so helpful. I improved the form with this recommendation.
But, I also want to change the style of the checked option on the completed PDF document. I'd like to include a check mark, not a rounded style.

Hi Joel,
Thanks for getting back to us. You can use a Multiple Choice element instead of the Single Choice field then set an Entry Limit to allow your user only to select one from the option. Please note that deleting the field will also delete its connected data. I suggest downloading your submissions first before doing the steps below. This guide will show you how.
- In Form Builder, click the Add Form Element option on the left side
- Drag the Multiple Choice element to your form and click the Gear icon.
- Under the Options tab, enter your options in the Options box.
- Under the Surveying tab toggle On the Entry Limit option and enter number 1 in the Minimum and Maximum box.
- Next, map the options to your PDF document.
