The PDF attachments aren't hiding/showing texts according to the imposed conditions and form configuration

    Dear Jotform's Staff.

In regard to the following form https://form.jotformz.com/82078849296676

We're having an issue related to the "Text" element used in the above mentioned form. All the conditionals are working well. However, when we receive responses to this form, those "text" elements aren't hidden/shown in the .pdf document accordingly to the conditionals imposed.

Could you help by fixing that issue or pointing up an workaround? This is a really important feature to my company, and will help us improving our processes a lot.

We really appreciate your help on this matter.

Thank you very much, in advance.

    Kind regards,

The PDF View is controlled from the submissions page. You can set options such as Auto Hide Empty Fields and Show Headers and Texts.

Then in the notifications/autoresponders set the condition to hide empty fields in the settings. Refer to this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/256-How-to-Hide-Empty-Fields-on-Email-Alerts

    Dear Donald.

Thank you for your prompt response.

However, we don't want to hide/show every "text" as you . We want them to appear in the .pdf file accordingly to what we se up by hide/show conditionals. This option you pointed up only works to hide/show ALL the "texts" in the form.

Do you have another suggestion or workaround? We really appreciate your effort to help us.

    Thank you, once again.

    Kind regards,

Please note that conditions to dynamically show/hide contents on the form does not affect the email nor the PDF content as both of them have their own template/layout that can be customized.

Moreover, by default, contents of a "Text" field are not included on the email. Should you wish to add the contents of "Text" elements, you would need to do so manually.

In order to achieve different email contents based on user's answer, as a workaround, may I suggest instead to create multiple notification and autoresponder email. Each one will have different content that corresponds to what "Text" fields are shown. Then, you would need to create a condition that will specify which email shall be sent to the user, based on their chosen answers.
