Is there a way to only pay for more upload storage if I need it?

Title really says it all...

I'm fearing 10gb won't be enough and don't want to have to upgrade the entire account.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience. I'm afraid that we do not have a paid plan or add-ons that will only upgrade a specific limit in an account. The only available plans that we have are the ones shown on the pricing page and billing page of your account.

You have, however, the option to delete files uploaded to your form to free some upload storage space by deleting the submission associated with the files.

But please be warned that deleted submissions can no longer be recovered. This is why we encourage our users to always have a back-up of their submissions and files before deleting it.
