Integrations with Squarespace/Mailchimp

I am researching the best integration option for a not for profit organisation. They require an extensive Volunteer Registration Form which has three data entry points which need to trigger automated email responses. They have a website on Squarespace and the form currently exists in a Form Block. They have been advised that JotForm will provide automated responses that can be triggered but the full details submitted by the person completing the form are emailed in excel format.

From your website, It is unclear to me how this is done. It appears that JotForm is simply a form creator with no data storage or email campaign options...

May I please seek clarification on the following points:

1. If JotForm is embedded into a Squarespace website, upon submission, is the data stored anywhere by JotForm? Or must the data be stored by third party ie. Mailchimp?
2. Upon submission of the JotForm, is the data emailed in excel format to the nominated email account? What else happens?
3. Can JotForm send out automated emails without data being stored by Mailchimp for example? If so, how?
4. Can JotForm send multiple automated emails triggered by 3 separate data entry points within the one form?

This client has limited funds to spend on digital infrastructure so it is imperative that we find a solution that is cost effective and efficient as they build their volunteer capacity.

The data is stored in JotForm and you may also setup a mailing list into your Mailchimp using our integration.

If you don't integrate your form with Mailchimp, then the data is not stored.

You can also setup which fields would you like to be sent to Mailchimp.

It is possible to send an email using the autoresponder/notification email and use mailchimp integration.
