I have created ticket registration form that includes a dynamic QR code for scanning at the door. I want the Ticket Verification Form (the form that scans the QR code) to reveal more data from the registration, including first name, last name, and no. of tickets. Is this possible? And if so, how do I do it.
Please help.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform support. Yes, scanning QR codes allows you to collect data. There are some detailed guides below:

I clearly have not explained myself well. We are currently using a DYNAMIC QR CODE in event registration, where the registrant receives a unique QR code linked to their registration data.
We have just figured out that we can control the amount of data that gets pushed to the QR code for the purposes of checking tickets at the door of the event, but we did not figure it out until most registrations were already made. Therefore, we already have many registrations that will, upon scanning, show only an email address and not the "no. of tickets" they ordered.
SO THE QUESTION IS: Is there a way to push the required data form the registration form to the Ticket Verification form in another way besides adding conditions in the original Registration Form to the Dynamic QR Code Reader?

Hi Harmony Connect,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.
Is there a way to push the required data form the registration form to the Ticket Verification form in another way besides adding conditions in the original Registration Form
To clarify is this the original form:
https://www.jotform.com/form/222686095403155
To clarify, do you want to populate the data on the ticket verification from the data from the registration form using the Qr code?
Unfortunately, this is not currently a direct functionality but you can use the QR code to populate the form values then redirect the form using URL parameter.
If you’re looking to do that, please follow the steps below:
To prepopulate the fields, you may refer to our "Prepopulating Fields to Your Jotform via URL Parameters" guide for more information on how to build the URL.
Once you have the URL, encode it using your favorite QR Code generator or you can use following widgets:
- QR Code - Generate a QR Code and add it to your form.
- Dynamic QR Code - Generate a customized QR code on your form.
Related Guide: How to Add a Widget to Your Form.
The final part would be the QR Code Reader. You could either use a 3rd party app for this, or use our QR Code Reader widget.
Please try this and let us know how it goes.
Thanks Harmony Connect!

The form I am working on is this: https://form.jotform.com/222546235098156
I am using a form created with the QR Code Reader to read the QR codes as people enter the event. The problem is, right now, registrations collected before we figured out all the conditions we wanted pushed to that QR code only show up "email address" and often that is not enough to identify someone.
I will investigate and read up on your "Prepopulate" solution to see if that will give us what we want.
I am also having issues, however, with the integration of the form's data with Mailchimp. Although I have 187 submissions, when I integrate to Mailchimp with a specific tag, Mailchimp gets only 58 of those submissions. I have checked off both boxes at the bottom of the integration screen, for updating and adding existing contacts, but with the exact same results.
I am trying desperately to get our office to stop downloading data and transferring it manually. Please help.
