How to sell raffle tickets

    Good morning,

    we want to sell raffle tickets online and according to a google search I can set this up through Jotform. Can you please guide me on this?

    Would I be able to market this form on our social platforms as well as to our email subscribers?

    Good day,

    thank you for your reply. If I set this up through the Form Template, will your system issue raffle ticket numbers to the buyer once payment has been received or is that something we will need to do manually?

    If automated, how does Jotform know that payment has been received?

    Are the raffle ticket numbers generated randomly or in sequence? - How does the draw take place?

    Apologies for all the questions; I have never managed a raffle before.

    Hello Friederike,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can issue raffle ticket to the buyer automatically or manually. If you wish to issue a unique ticket automatically, kindly add Unique ID widget to your form, and the widget will automatically generate a Unique ID to assign for each submission received. To add a widget to your form, please follow the steps below:

    1. In the Form Builder, click the Add Form Element button.
    2. Go to the Widgets tab, then search for 'Unique ID'
    3. Click the widget to add. You can also drag and drop it anywhere on your form.


    If you wish to accept payment for each submission, it is possible by integrating your form with one of our available payment integration, but please note that you will need an active account with that payment integration. So, if you wish to integrate with PayPal, you will need to have PayPal account. We suggest taking a look at the detailed guide on how to integrate your form with payment integration here.

    Once you have received the list of the submissions, you can consider downloading your data in form of Excel file. To download your submissions data with Excel file, please follow the steps below:

    1. Go to your My Forms page.
    2. Select the form with the submissions you want to export.
    3. Click the Submissions button in the top toolbar.
    4. Click the Download All button.
    5. Choose the Download as Excel option.


    Then, you can copy the Unique IDs and draw the winner from third-party applications.
