How to combine submissions through the Combine Submission App

We submitted 3 different forms to our job applicants and would like to merge those responses into one JotForm or excel form; what is the best way to go about that?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can merge the submissions of forms using the Combine Submissions app. If you'd like to merge them on the Jotform Tables, then you can download the submission data of one of the forms and then import it to the other form using the Import App.

Thanks for getting back to us. I would like to clarify what are you trying to merge. Are you trying to merge the fields of all 3 forms into 1 form or are you trying to merge the data? If you want to merge the fields, you can use the field manager. If you want to merge the submissions, you can use the combine submission app.

To protect your form and your submission data, we prefer to provide you with instructions and guide you on how to meet your requirements. As shared by my colleagues, you can use the Combine Submissions App to automatically export submission data from multiple forms at once. If you're having difficulties doing it or have any more questions, please let us know.

I prefer to have Jotform handle the transfer process to minimize the risk of errors. I understand that my data may not be secure, but I'm not concerned about privacy now.

We are trying to Sync forms but its been sinking for over 20 min please advise if this normal.

Thanks for getting back to us. About your request to combine your form submissions, we did it for you. You can check this link to see your 3 form submissions. Combining submissions is very easy. Let me walk through it:

• Open the Combine Submission App. And click on Start Combing.

• Now, select the forms whose submissions you want to combine. And select the fields you want to combine submissions with each other.

• Do the same process with your other 2 forms. Check out my screencast below:

• You can Filter submissions date "From" to "To".
• You can choose either "Question type" or "Question name".
• You can also add Form Name, Submission Date/ Time, Submission IP Address column for CSV file.
• Click on Generate CSV file to create CSV link.
• Click on the link to Download the file

Thanks for getting back to us. It seems my colleague already combined the 3 forms for you. Kindly check this link. As for the message you encountered, are referring to the 'Cloning Fields...'? If so, can you provide us a screenshot of the console report so that we can investigate the issue further? This guide will show you how to do that.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.
