I am unable to set up the form with FTP access. Can you provide IP addresses for your FTP access usage?

We are currently facing a challenge with FTP connections on our server due to strict firewall security measures. To facilitate these connections, our security protocol requires us to whitelist specific IP addresses.

We have already consulted your support page and added the provided IP addresses to our whitelist. Unfortunately, we are still experiencing connectivity issues. This leads us to believe that there may be additional IP ranges used by your services that are not listed on the support page.

Could you kindly provide us with the complete range of IP addresses associated with your FTP services? This information is crucial for us to update our firewall settings and ensure a secure and uninterrupted connection.

Your prompt assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated, as it is critical for the ongoing operations of our business.

Thank you for your attention to this request. Looking forward to your swift response.

    Hello Jim,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Here is a list of our available IP addresses and domains you can use to whitelist and connect the form to your FTP. Can you tell us the error you are seeing when integrating the form into your FTP? It would help us to understand what’s happening if you could take a screenshot and send it to us. We have a guide here explaining how to do that.

In the meantime, you can directly integrate the form into an FTP. Let me show you how:

    • On the Form Builder page, click on the Settings tab on the orange navigation bar at the top.
    • Go to the Integrations section on the left task pane.
    • Look for FTP from the list.

    • Put your FTP credentials in.
    • Click the Authenticate button to proceed.

    • On the next screen, modify the FTP set up as to where you need to save the submission from the form.
    • Then click the Save at the end of the configuration page.

    • Finally, click the Finish button.

Give it a try and reach out to us again if you have more questions.

    Norwin,

Thank you for your response. We've been utilizing FTP for a year, but given its outdated and unsecure nature, and our IT team has now restricted FTP access. Access is only permitted from pre-approved IP addresses. I've already added your IP address from the provided Whitelist IPs link as I mentioned in my initial response. Our integration with Jot Forms involves two key components:

Webhook Integration: This is used to transmit Jot Form submission data to our API. This enables us to import the data into our system. The webhook payload includes information about any user-uploaded files. If files are detected from the payload of the webhook, we retrieve the files from our FTP folder which reside in our network.

FTP Integration: We've configured Jot Forms to send any uploaded files directly to our FTP site, storing them in a folder (again in our network) named after the submission ID. Once we receive the webhook, we know exactly which folder to access to retrieve and integrate the files into our application.

We urgently require a list of IP ranges from your server for FTP authentication. Considering the security vulnerabilities of FTP, it's critical for Jot Forms to be aware and provide either the necessary IP addresses or alternative solutions like SFTP.

Your assistance in addressing our needs is greatly appreciated.

    Are you kidding adding me?

Did you not read my first and or second threads?

In both of them I have clearly said that I have already tried these white list page you sent. It does not work.

Please passes this on to the next level support and stop sending the generic precanned response!
