Jotform Cards makes it easy to let respondents autofill their address using their device’s current location. When geolocation is enabled for the Address field, users can quickly populate their address instead of entering it manually.
This can help speed up form completion, improve accuracy, and create a smoother experience for respondents.
Note
This guide applies to Jotform Cards. If you’re using a Classic Form, you’ll need to use a Mapping or Locator widget instead.
Enabling Geolocation to your Address Element only takes a few steps. Here’s how:
- In Form Builder, select the Address element and then click on the Gear icon on the right side of it.
- Then, in the Address Properties menu that opens, under the General tab, scroll down and toggle on the Autocomplete.
- Now, toggle on the Geolocation and you’re done.
And that’s it! A location marker will now appear on the Address field of your form. Users can click the marker to automatically detect their current location and autofill their address.
Note
If prompted, users must allow location access in their browser or device settings for the geolocation feature to detect their current location.

I do not see options for autocomplete and geolocation under General Tab. Maybe I did something wrong
