How to Create an App From a Website With Jotform Apps

Jotform Apps lets you transform your website into a fully functional mobile app—without needing coding or complex development. It works well for simple websites, such as informational pages or contact hubs, and can also support more advanced setups, such as online stores and customer portals.

By converting your site into an app-like experience, you can provide users with a more convenient, mobile-friendly way to access your content, products, or services. This makes it easier for customers to browse your offerings, submit forms, place orders, or interact with your business directly from their devices. Jotform Apps also lets you integrate forms, payment gateways, and other tools, helping streamline operations and improve the overall user experience.

To get started, make sure you have your website URL ready. Once you’re set, here’s what to do:

1. On your Workspace page, click on Create on the left side of the screen.

2. In the window that opens, click on App.

3. Then, in the Create Your App with AI window that opens, enter the description of the app that you wish to create. 
4. Next, in the bottom-left corner of the Description box, click the Encircled Plus icon.
5. Now, in the Dropdown menu that opens, click on Add Link.

6. In the Add Link window that opens, enter your website address in the Enter Your Link box.
7. Then, click on Add Link.

8. Once the link is attached, click on Send.

At this stage, Podo AI will crawl through your website and use its resources to create the app. You’ll see the screen below for this flow:

Once Podo has completed its crawl, it will add and complete tasks, such as creating the pages. You’ll also see the following screen for this flow:

That’s it! Your website is now available as an app, making it easier for users to access your content, services, or store directly from their mobile devices. You can share the app with your audience, enabling them to interact with your website more conveniently and on mobile devices.
