How to Disable or Delete an App

App Status: Disable an app

The default status of apps is enabled. You can change this status according to your needs.

Disabled

When you set an app’s status to disabled, you’ll see options to determine how the app should work.

Here, you can choose to show a message or redirect your users to another app.

Disable on a date

Another option to disable an app is Disable on a date.

Using this option, you can schedule a custom date for disabling the app along with the Show Message and Redirect to Another App option.

Delete an app

  1. Go to the My Apps page.
  2. Select the form.
  3. Click on the Move to Trash button.
  4. Confirm by clicking on the Delete App button.

Deleted apps will go to the Trash folder and will be purged after 30 days.

Restore a deleted app

  1. Go to the My Apps page.
  2. Open the Trash folder.
  3. Select the form.
  4. Click the Restore button.

Purged apps are permanently removed from Jotform’s servers and cannot be restored.
