    Hello,

We are using jotforms for our scope walks for our construction company. For each line item on a project we use jotforms to plug in the data digitally, convert it to a CSV and upload it to our database for estimates and project management. We would like to create a scope form that has specific pricing on it. For example: We know bathroom 1 needs 2 toilets, on the section where it says Bathroom 1 Toilets, we'd like the option to select "Install Elongated Toilet, $428" and then choose "2", and and come up with the price of "$856". Is it possible to create another column on the CSV form with "Install Elongated Toilet" and "$856" on two different columns?

How can we make this work? Our email is bid@nutoneconstruction.com or call at 702-876-9600. We work 7-4 Monday-Friday, pacific time.

    Thank you,

    -Aaron

    Hi Aaron,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Do you mean you want to have a condition where you can choose between two columns from your CSV file and display it as a single element on your form using the Spreadsheet to form Widget? If so, unfortunately, when using Spreadsheet to Form widget, you can only map one column to one element.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better? If you can also take a screenshot of what’s happening, that will help us to better understand what’s going on. We have a guide about how to do that here.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hello,
I want to have an option where for example: The question is: Exterior Paint? If yes, what is the squarefootage. Once the squarefootage is entered and the price is known to be $1.45 per SQFT,
I’d like it to populate that information in a CSV form.
I’d like to be able to do that for multiple items.

    Hi Aaron,

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it. I’m sorry you're having difficulties with this. You can use Conditional Logic to display fields depending on the selected option of the user, and you can use the Form Calculation widget to calculate the amount depending on the selected quantity of the user. I cloned your form, and applied the needed changes to have that functionality. Check out the screencast below:

As you can see, an option appears on the form after I select an option, and the amount value automatically updates every time I select a quantity. You can clone my demo form as a reference. Let me show you how to do it:

First, let's add the needed fields:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Add Form Element on the left side of the page, and drag, and drop Single Choice widget, and Dropdown widget on your form.

    2. Click on the Widgets tab, and drag, and drop Form Calculation widget on your form.

    3. Click on the Gear icon of your Single Choice widget, and click on the Options tab.
    4. Enter Yes, and No option.

    5. Click on the Gear icon of your Dropdown widget, and click on the Options tab.
    6. Enter the quantity options for your product.

    7. Click on the Wand icon of your Form Calculation widget, and copy the settings pattern below:

Now, let's set up a condition to display those fields depending on the option selected:

    1. Click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, and in the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Conditions.
    2. Choose Show/Hide Field.

    3. Copy the condition settings pattern below:

That's it. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more, so I can help you better?

As for your other question, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.
