Submit to pay is buffering

    When clients use their credit card to submit payment it buffers with the message “please wait.” Please advise.

    Hi Lauri,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you share with us the form link that you're having trouble with so we can check it on our end? Can you also share with us a screenshot of the "please wait" message that your client gets when they submit payment? This guide will show you how to do that. Can you also let them try another browser or device if it still happens?

    Sure… They have tried different browsers and devices.

    Hi Lauri,

    Thanks for getting back to us. I believe you're referring to this form. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. I was able to submit the payment immediately using a credit card in Test Mode. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

    Submit to pay is buffering Image 1 Screenshot 30 I've cleared your form cache. Can you please test your form to see if it makes any difference? If the same thing happens again, try to disconnect your form from Square on your payment settings, then connect it again:

    I tried all options and it didn’t work. I now have 3 different families who are experiencing the same thing when they try to register and pay. Please advise…

    Hi Lauri,

    Thanks for getting back to us. I checked your form but don't see any issues. Please try the suggestions shared by my colleague to disconnect and reconnect your Square account. If you've already done that, let us know together with a screenshot of the screen, that's showing the console log while the submit button is stuck. This will give us a better idea of what's happening and how to help.

    Hi Lauri,

    Thanks for getting back to us. Upon checking your Square Integration, your Business Location has been stuck to Fetching locations.

    Submit to pay is buffering Image 1 Screenshot 30Please disconnect from your Square Integration and then reconnect to see if it resolves the problem. This would reconnect your Business location and correct it. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Wand icon next to your Product list field.
    2. Then, click the Gear icon on the top right of your screen.

    yes, please feel free to try. I don't know what browser they are using. I don't feel like it is professional to ask them that since they have tried multiple times to register and pay. It is a tedious task filling out the form.

    Hi Lauri,

    Thanks for getting back to us. With your permissions, I attempted to submit your form and was successful. It's simply that I used a test card, so I got the error.

    Submit to pay is buffering Image 1 Screenshot 30 If the issue persists, try removing and re-adding the product list. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Trash can icon to delete the Product List.
    2. Select Add Form Element in the upper-left corner to open Form Elements.
    3. In the Form Elements pane on the left, go to Payments at the top.
    4. Select or drag and drop Square in your form.
    5. Then, click Connect and connect/authenticate your Square account.

    It may happen for a short period of time. Then it will automatically redirects.

    Thanks for getting back to us. To add, after you reconnected the Square integration, ask the user to use an Incognito browser on Chrome or Private browsing in Firefox.

    I just removed and re-added the product list. I emailed my costumers that it should be running smoothly. I hope this works.
