How to send auto email based on users answer?

I have a process where people sign up on my form and they get an automated email with next steps. Now I need them to take an additional action (register more information on another form). Is it possible to send automated email reminders for the registrants to take the next step, but only to the people who haven't done it yet? I do this manually and it is very time consuming. Thank you!

    Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Are you working on the Virtual ELI Sign-Up form? You can use the send email based on their answer feature. You can set up the Autoresponder email with the link to another form and if they haven't done the registration yet then create a condition to send the email. See the sample below:

But, if you were referring to something else, can you explain it a bit more so we can help you with it?

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi Angeli, thanks for responding and for showing me the conditional logic based on their answer. The way it works is one person registers a number of people when they fill out this form. We collect their name and corresponding emails. Then each registrant needs to fill out more information about themselves that can't be collected on the initial form.

Some people fill out the second form right away, while others drag their feet. This is where I'd like a solution where people who are on the list who haven't filled out their second form will get a notification at a specific deadline. The second form currently isn't on Jotform but we plan to create it on here once we figure out a good solution.

    Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can easily create an autoresponder email. When the submitter successfully submits the form, an autoresponder email will automatically be sent to them, along with the link to the second form. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar, click on Settings.
    2. Go to Emails, and on the Autoresponder Email, click on the Pencil Icon.
    3. Click on Insert or Edit Link Icon, enter the form two URL, the Text to be displayed, and click on Ok.
    4. Finally, click on Save.

Here is a screenshot of the autoresponder email I received in my email.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better? It would help us to understand what’s happening if you could take a screenshot and send it to us. We have a guide here explaining how to do that.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
