help please - i have searched everything and before i give up i figured i would send an email - i have spent over 10 hours and have absolutely nothing to show for it - here is what i am trying to do ---i work at a bagel shop and their website is a waste of space - i want to create an order form with the obvious things like name, email, phone number, date needed, time needed - then comes the part that has made me crazy -

i want to be able to list the bagel flavors in 1 column and in the second colum i want the customer to be able to fill in the quantity needed

    plain ____

    sesame _____

    poppy _____

etc etc etc - i suspect there is no way for your forms to handle the pricing issues so lets not even go there - it would be nice if there was a total quantity area - i have other needs also but if we cant get past this part then the rest is irrelevant - please let me know if you have something to handle this or if i should just look elsewhere - thank you

hello - thank you for your quick response - i have tried looking at those and can make no sense of them - i need something without prices - when i try some and put in no price it says "free" - is there no "simple" solution? i can just create a fillable pdf using adobe pro but that seems silly - thank you

You may use the Inventory widget or the quantity gift widget to add quantity to your items.

If you would like to use calculation to add prices, it is possible with the inventory widget and combine with the form calculation widget.

Here is my sample form: https://form.jotform.com/200713202133940

Please check it out and let us know if this fits your requirements.

im sorry to be such a nuisance - this is feeling ridiculous now - i dont need anything that has inventory or quantity remaining or anything like that - how about a simple form (to start) with a list of items to check off and a box to fill in how many of each item a person wants to order - it would be nice to have a total quantity ordered but let that wait for now - i cant even get to step one with this - i have designed a form years ago using jotform on amabstracts.com and i dont recall having any issue whatsoever designing it - yes, this is a very different type of form but i am extremely computer literate and feel like im slamming my head against a wall i want to do a lot with this form but i have no idea if jotform can handle it - i appreciate any guidance you can give me please  - thank you

i thought configurable list might be an option - i can list items in 1  column - but i the second column i can only get "number" field to appear next to only the first item

i feel like i am missing something - how hard is it to have 2 columns - multiple choosing

column 1 of flavors like plain sesame and everything

column 2 allows customer to choose quantity needed

    Here is a Demo Form:

    Result:

Need a form with items and blank box to enter quantity Image 10

I have done this using an Input table. This could also be done using traditional fields like text box, dropdown but that would require many fields. Please let us know if this workaround could work for you.

hi - thank you - that was very very helpful - now im trying to accomplish a few more things - im getting greedy -

is there a way to have the column of regular flavor bagels be in 2 colums so that it takes up more horizontal space and less vertical space so that the # of bagels needed / chosen / bagels still needed can be visible while picking bagels

    also

i would like some conditional formatting that while bagels chosen is less than bagels needed then the bagels still needed and quantity; but if the bagels chosen is MORE than bagels needed then a similar box of something like "you need to choose" X# less

also is there a way that if they choose a specific # of bagels needed that i can convert it to "bakers dozen (13)" "half dozen (6)" "individual bagels" - example if they enter 48 that would be 3 bakers dozen, 1 half dozen and 3 individual bagels

and can the reverse be accomplished - if they pick 3 dozen, 1 half dozen and 3 individual bagels that it can calculate 48

i think that may be all for now but the next steps will be figuring out how to create a better layout and after everything is done i want a much cleaner submission to email form - it isnt so easy to read - again thank you for your help -
