App Users Only

Can I setup users that can only capture data on the APP? Reason being is that the Users that will capture the data do not have PC's and can only capture data via the APP. Also, do they have to create a profile on Jotform to be able to use the APP?

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. Did you mean, you are looking to set up collaborators for your forms and have them only view or get the submission data via App? Submission data can be viewed via the app and also by logging into your account in the web browser. Submissions can be synced in the Jotform App settings. Collaborators do not need to have an account. You may refer to this link to have a better understanding of this.

Thank you for the prompt response. We are a construction company and the forms I created are for daily use by our site supervisors. They capture data for the tasks they do each day. This data is part of our quality assurance process which have to be approved by our customer at the end of each day and should then be submitted for record purposes. I therefore need my supervisors to have the APP installed on their mobile phones or a tablet to allow them to capture the data during the day and get the customer to sign and approve the data on the APP. So, I want to know if all my supervisors should register on Jotform to be able install and use the app on a daily basis? I also don't want them to be able to change anything on the forms, they should only be able to complete the forms and view their submission on the APP?

Thank you for contacting Jotform Support. Mobile form apps can be used and they can be assigned. You can easily add assignees to your forms and set their permissions to be Submit Only, this way they won't have access to the submitted entries, please check the below guides for more details. I see that assignees needs to have a jotform account. We can try and get around that issue. My next question is then, if I assign forms, will these assignees be able to only capture data on the APP as they do not have PC's on the sites where they work and can only capture data via the APP?
