Sometimes you want to change your form completely, URL included, but you shared your existing form URL with your customers already.
Instead of sending the new URL to your customers (which you can do as well if you have their email address), you can inform your users in the old form that “the URL is changed”.
Here is how you can set that up:
- Hide all your form fields by selecting all (Ctrl+A for Windows, Cmd+A for Mac) elements and clicking on the Hide button that’ll appear on the upper right of the Form Builder.

You can also remove all fields from your old form, but note that deleting a field will also delete submissions associated with it. Back up form submissions by downloading them first before deleting the form fields using How to Download Form Submissions as Excel/CSV/PDF guide.
- Using the Paragraph element, add the describing text that explains to your users that the form address has been changed. Make sure you add a linked URL to your new form:

- Make sure that you removed the Submit button since you don’t want this form to be submitted.

Of course, you can add any additional information to your old form that will explain better the purpose of changing the URL. You can check how it looks like in our demo form here: https://form.jotform.com/212712225215039
