Hello,
Do you have a template that I can use to send a invoice to payment request to someone and have them pay it online?
My people would enter the payment amount and send to them to pay

Hello ofAugusta,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, Jotform now offers a way for form owners to generate an invoice for their payment forms. Aside from saving time looking for alternatives and workarounds, this also greatly reduces the costs involved with paying third-party invoice providers. Please check out this guide about How to Generate an Invoice for Your Payment Form?

Thank You, but I am wanting to be able to fill in the amount right before I send it to them. What option is that?

Hi ofAugusta,
Did you mean you need to be the one to fill in the form and send the generated invoice to the users? If so, you can create an order form, fill it out with your customers' information, and add an email field so that you can enter the customer's email address. Then, set up an Autoresponder email and attach the PDF invoice to the email.
Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Yes, but I would like to fill out the amount and when I send it to the customer I just want them to be able to enter their CC invoice and pay it and NOT be able to change the $ amount. Almost like sending them a active online invoice and they just click to pay.
I hope that helps.
Thanks,
Jay

Hi ofAugusta,
To achieve your goal, you can use the Manual Prefill function, set up the payment as a 'User-defined', and invite the user to fill out the form. Here's the complete process:
- Add the fields where you can enter your customer's information and the field where you can manually enter the amount that you need them to pay.
- Add a Form Calculation widget and hide it from the form. This needs to be hidden since we're only using it to get its value and pass it to the payment field.
- Open the widget settings and add the field 'Amount to pay' on it so it will calculate whatever value you enter.
- Add your preferred payment integration and set it as 'User-Defined' and get the price from the Calculation widget we just added. We are passing the value of the calculation widget into the payment field.
- Add the 'Get Form URL' widget to your form.
- Add this Hide/Show condition to hide the 'Amount to pay' field if the user views your form using the prefill link that they will not be able to update the amount field.
- Go to the Publish tab, select Prefill, and select Manual Prefill.
- Click 'Add new prefill'.
- You will be prompted to a screen where you can fill out the form and enter the amount to pay. After filling out the necessary fields, click on the 'Create' button in the upper right corner.
- You can invite the user to fill out the prefilled form via email or you can also copy the unique URL and send it to the user.
- This is what the user will see once they access the prefilled form:
Please give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
