I am looking for a web form capability that allows me to collect stats / be notified when a field changes of a submit button is hit (regardless of whether the submit was successful). Can you assist?

    Thank you

    Mark

    Hello Mark,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support.

Do you mean to say that whenever there will be a submission from your form, you will be notified via email about that submission? If yes, with Jotform, that is possible. You can check this guide for a detailed step-by-step process on how to do it.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

No. I want notifications and stats when a field changes, for example text is entered in a field.

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Please check out the "A General Approach on Building an Approval Process Workflow" guide. It may not be the exact workflow you're trying to achieve, but the guide will show you how to allow multiple form fillers, to participate in a single form submission entry.

The idea is to have Person 1 (user) fill out the form initially. After submission, send the data and/or the edit link of the entry to Person 2 (you) automatically via an email alertPerson 2 can then edit the entry and input additional info required. Repeat the after-submission process if there are more participants utilizing the Change E-mail Recipient feature to conditional send notification emails.

Please do check the guide and should you have any further inquiries, we will be more than happy to help.

Please take me off your contact lists. You cannot do what I am looking for.
Thank you for the responses though.

    Hello Mark,

Unfortunately, there is no way to get notified of a partially completed form, however, you can set up a Save Forms and Continue Later workflow by following this guide: How-to-Save-Forms-and-Continue-Later. This way, when the user is in the process of completing the form but has not clicked Submit yet, you will be able to see the interim form data in the Incomplete Submissions tab on your Jotform tables. If this won't work for you still, do let us know and we'll delete your guest account.
