I've seen this in other threads but didn't really see any definitive answers.
I have two forms, one that collects $45 using the PayPal Pro API interface. I can received via the PayPal option or any of the credit cards (AMEX, VISA, MasterCard, Discover).
I have another form that is for lump sum products of $75, $100, $250, $500, $1000 setup Paypal Pro like the other form. This form works for all transactions but using AMEX gives me the error below. The setup of the forms other than products is identical.

To fully resolve this issue you will need to contact your merchant processor. While the return message does not provide details, the error in question indicates that something is "risky" about your customer's payment card and/or payment information which is flagged by your merchant processor's risk team. Jotform has no control over credit card approvals or declines.
At this point, it is recommended to ask your customer for another form of payment. However, if you would like to pursue this on your end, please contact your payment processor's Risk & Underwriting team. Any type of holds or warnings on your merchant processing account can be addressed with that team.
