Scale rating fields cannot be displayed in the PDF form.

    When I convert a form to pdf, it looks awful. The formatting is all messed up, with text appearing over the top of form fields so that it's illegible.

    This happens with very simple forms as well as multi-page forms.

    I've tried opening my pdf forms with both Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader -- same problem with both, so I think the problem must be in how the form is being converted to pdf in JotForm.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello,

    I tried this on your jotform http://www.jotform.us/form/50287152366153 and the resulting Fillable PDF Form was much better than what you have shown on your screenshot.

    I suggest checking also the details on our user guide

    Sometimes, the TEXT fields on the form are the one that have issue being converted to PDF form.

    Most widgets are also not supported yet in the conversion. So, try to minimize the use of them on the form that you intend to convert to PDF Form.

    Can you please retry again creating the PDF file of the form. 

    Try also clearing your browser's cache before retrying.

    It's not the text fields that are causing the problem; it's the fields that have a scale rating. The scale is missing from the pdf.

    I cleared both the form cache and my browser cache, and also adjusted the line spacing of the template, but it didn't help with the scale ratings fields.

    More ideas?

    Please be noted that all form cannot be displayed in the PDF form.

    Star rating and scale rating fields will not be displayed in the PDF form, it will only display a text box instead of the scale rating field.
