We are really wanting to enhance our use of Jotform but we are running into a complication. When we download an Excel Report of our uploads it has a URL for the images. The problem is that it is a redirect URL to where the image is actually located. Our platform that generates our web pages needs the ACTUAL URL for where the image is stored. Can you please let me know how we can accomplish this. It is very important for a couple products we are working on and want to use your form builder for since it is easy for people to review and edit at a later date.

    Thank you!!!

I exported a submission via excel but I the link used in the report doesn't seem to redirect me to a different URL. When I click the link, it simply downloads the uploaded file to my downloads folder. If I understand correctly, you want the Excel report to have the url of the image so you can view the image via the browser, instead of the current url which lets you download the image? Unfortunately, it is not possible to change how the URL to the image is displayed in the report. The export is designed to allow the user to download the image using the link in the report.

A possible alternative I can suggest would be to use the UploadCare widget. This widget allows you to have the link to the image so you can view it directly on the browser. The URL created in the excel report will also lead to the image, instead of downloading the image.

Here's our article on Uploadcare: A New Way to Upload Files to Your Form

If I misunderstood your question, please let me know.
    Regards.

I believe you understood my question correctly. I was hoping there was a way to have it view directly in the browser. I'm working on the Uploadcare Widget but having trouble with the sizing of it in the form. Seems like it is a big widget and worried about its size functionality on some smaller screens. But working with it now to see if it can do what we want. Thanks.

You are most welcome. If you want, you can also check out other file upload widgets such as Drag and Drop Upload Widget and the Image Upload Preview Widget. These widgets should work the same as the Uploadcare, in which the excel report will have the link to the image to view it on the browser instead of downloading it. However, please note that these widgets will include a title of the uploaded file in the spreadsheet cells, which will look like this: [title of file] http://linktofile.com.
    Cheers.
