    Hello,

I want to set up a t-shirt order form to sell a limited number of T shirts for a non profit.  I only have a certain amount of each size available and I don't want to oversell.  Is there a way to do that?  I know I can limit the number of overall submissions but this would be per selected size.

The other catch is that this is for a tax exempt non profit and this T shirts were donated for a fundraiser.  So I would be setting up our paypal to except the payment as a donation, not as selling a product.

    Thanks,

    Hello Kate,

I have checked your account and I have cloned your form named "Shirt Sale" in order to test it on my side.

I have found more than one way to set the products.

Firstly, you can add a drop-down list instead of a text box in order to limit the quantity of the T-shirts as the following screenshot below:

Secondly, you can set a number field for quantity and set the maximum limit as you can see the following screenshot below:

Finally, if you sell T-shirts in your form even for donation reasons, you can choose Sell Products option instead of "Collect Donations". After choosing the Sell Products option, you can add quantity to your payment as you can see the screenshot below:

You can add Quantity and you can set limits to it as you can see the screenshot below:

After, you can set the Tax Rate as 0 if you want.

Also, you can describe your fundraiser reasons with a rich text field before you get the payment.

Please try. If you need any further assistance, let us know.

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your thorough response but I'm looking for something a little different. It's not the quantity someone can buy but the quantity I have available. For instance if I have 20 Medium shirts I want the form to stop offering Medium as an option after 20 orders have been received without me manually checking throughout the day. Is that possible?  Thanks.

Yes, that is possible. You can try any of these widgets:

http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/inventory - the widget will ensure that each time your form is submitted, the total amount purchased or ordered at the time is deducted from the inventory.

http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/quantity_gift_registry - When the items on your list have run out, the widget will cross out the item as unavailable.

http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/ticket_purchases - This widget is a checklist of different types of tickets, with a counter that tells your form users how many tickets are available before they get sold out.

Hope that helps. Try it out and let us know how it goes. Thank you.
