Hide and Show Fields with Conditions

    Is this true?

    If I designate a field to be hidden, the condition I write can only be SHOW. Adding Hide to a hidden field messes up the calculation.

    Conversely

    If I designate a field to SHOW, the condition I write can only be HIDE, but not SHOW.

    I have lots of calculations and some are not acting the way I anticipated. Too many to specify right now.

    What is the form you are working on? Please note that when you create a condition to show a field when the condition is met, that field will remain hidden, and will show only if the condition is met, example:

    If you create another condition for that same field, it will conflict. So, it is necessary to evaluate the logic, in order to create nested conditions, example:

    Please indicate what are the conditions conflicting in your form, so we can help you re-calibrating them to avoid conflicts.

    Thanks

    I have layers of if-this-then and calculations from a cloned/edited form, thought I could just edit, I need to restart.

    BTW How can you increase the width of the Conditions panel, it is even more difficult when you cannot see the entire question.

    I'm afraid that's something that can't be adjusted. The only thing that I can recommend is for you to click the PENCIL icon for the condition if you wish to check the actual fields involved.

    If you have further questions, don't hesitate to ask.

    @Mohammed Yahya

    This is a duplicate post. My colleague already posted a reply on your thread, here's the link: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1162817.

    Thank you.
