Checkboxes

My check-boxes are used as a choose one item. Although I have set the minimum and maximum for 1, it is still allowing the user to check more than one box. It won't let them submit it that way, but I want them to only be able to check one box, if they change their mind and check another one, it should de-check the first box. Best example is in the Preferred Phone Type (see screen shot)

As an added note, from the screenshot you attached here, I'm seeing you haven't left the checkbox field yet. Keep in mind that validation will only occur/trigger once you leave the field (or once the field loses focus).

I've shown 2 screenshots on the thread linked above for your reference so you can see how the form validates your checkbox (1st image with 2 options ticked, 2nd image with nothing ticked).
