Is it possible to allow users to pay through paypal with a credit card without creating a paypal account?

Will the credit card payment info show up on the same page as the form - or will it always follow in a secondary page after payment is submitted? What does "authorization only" mean on the paypal gateway settings?

You can do that, but your PayPal Account must be either Premier or Business. Personal Accounts do not have this option.

Please make sure that 'PayPal Account Optional' option is enabled under your PayPal account settings, see the next guide. Here is how you can do that: https://www.eventbrite.com/support/articles/en_US/How_To/how-to-turn-off-the-paypal-account-requirement-option?lg=en_US

Also, you can check this PayPal Forum thread.

Regarding the Authorization only in PayPal here is the short explanation about that option:

When you are selling physical items or items that need your approval prior to delivery to the customer, you may sometimes want to get payment authorization only - and capture payment at a later time when needed.

    Thank you!
